I am also having crazy android system and android OS usage on battery.

Have cleared cache and done all of the usual. Suppose a full add sideload would be next but it's not helping oneplus if they don't learn what causes these otas to leave these problems

I have a problem with battery drain on bluteooth (I had the same after unpacking - stock rom). After update to 3.5.4 community everything was great but after yesterday's update my problems returned.
Bluetooth is turned off but is still drain battery (screenshot). I noticed that when I wake up my phone I can see BT icon by a fraction of a second... so it works all the time, why?
I have a smartwatch and I am worried about using it, while BT-OFF drain my phone, what will happen when I turn it ON.

Try to check if the file downloaded is OK or corrupted. I was also on 3.2.7 non rooted, bootloader locked and was able to upgrade to 3.5.4 without any data loss through sideload

Most apps behave that way. Try using a nexus phone or Samsung and see whether your battery will last that long. Apps go wild unless you stop them with things like greenify or doze or just root your phone. Personally I feel battery management on the OP3 is very good, if you're a heavy user then keep your Dash charger nearby. Many people have totally unrealistic expectations of their Android phones and expect their batteries to last all day long without making an active effort to conserve usage by turning off WiFi or LTE when not in use or using app managers like greenify or doze. The more powerful your phone becomes the quicker the battery will drain unless you root or install battery managing apps. That's the long and short of it, ranting at OP won't solve anything.

Please delete any apps youre not using, especially those powerful battery consuming apps that run in the background, you will immediately see an improvement in your battery life!

I'm skeptical of this build...3.2.7 is where I'm staying for now. Can't beat 5 hour plus of on screen time with heavy usage.

    Why don't the data wipe?
So just clean the cache. Dont wipe data and factory reset?
