I cannot turn the volume to 0 since the update to OxygenOS 3.5.5. Please fix.

The following screenshot shows the minimum value of the volume. A reboot does not fix this.

@Devs: If you want a video showing the problem, pleask ask.

That's not a bug, its just a new "feature" (same happens in the op3), with this new version for putting to phone just on vibration mode you need to use the alert slider.

See this nice thread made by @100196 that talks also about that.

I think there is an Issue with the latest Oxygen OS update for the OP2.

Immediately after the update, My signal strength on both the SIMS have started to fluctuate from zero every now and then.

This issue seems to go off when the WiFi is Turned On and connect.

I don't know it is pretty irritating.

Can anyone help me out with this??

Thanks for the hint. The mentioned thread explains it as follows:

    F) How to put your phone in vibration mode

    1. Go to settings
    2. Alert Slider
    3. Silent
    4. Enable Vibration
So to put your phone in vibration by pushing your slider to top.

To me, this "feature" is circumstantial and counter-intuitive:

    1. To "put my phone in vibration mode", do I really have to do 4 steps, instead of simply reducing the volume to 0? This is odd. But maybe only in my eyes. I recommend to ask other users about this.

    2. I do not understand the sentence "So to put your phone in vibration by pushing your slider to top."
What does it mean? What slider do you mean exactly? How can I push it "to top"?

Too many questions for a new feature, I think. Maybe you reconsider re-enabling the good old feature "drop volume to 0 to enable vibration mode", at least as an option.

The fact that the volume slider hangs at a random position > 0 (and cannot be pushed to the left side entirely) looks like a bug. This is not how sliders normally behave.

That is refering to the alert slider that the phone has on the left side that you move up and down, in this case is moving all the way up to silent mode. And after seting up that option to enable vibration on this mode you don't need to do it again, you just move the slider.

I'm just a user like you so I can't do anything like that. But I do agree with you that overall its not that intuitive (i remember seeing also op3 users talking about this).

Lets see what the next version brings.
