    VaibhavBhargava , Aug 30, 2017 :
open your file manager and delete your .OTA folder and retry downloading the update or download the whole OTA from here http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-3t/oneplus_3t_oxygenos_4.1.7/( for oneplus 3t)
    http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-3/oneplus_3_oxygenos_4.1.7/ (for oneplus 3)
After downloading place it in the main directory of the internal storage and perform a local upgrade from "System Updates".

Just to be extra cautious clear the system cache from the recovery menu

It stays like that forever and would not update regardless. Does not matter, if it is via WiFi or 4G. I rebooted it several times.

Stop the update, and go to file manager and delete the .OTA folder and try to check for the update again

That bug is always hilarious. Just clear cache from recovery. Or recalibrate the battery with a full charge from 0% if that doesn't work

Always clear the cache after every update, although you can do it beforehand too.

Oh it seems much finer than having 4 hours SOT.

No, it won't, but it's recommended clearing the cache from the recovery after the update

Hi guys i am currently facing problems after this new security patch update. There have been instances of automatic shut down and it wont just restart. Any one else facing such problems??

I have also faced this issue. I initially thought it was because of some app misbehaving. I have already tried uninstalling apps, have done a cache clear from recovery(which is what most people suggest for any problem)
I do believe it's a big in the update. It's happened thrice to me since I updated it.
