    Guys, I am updating it from 4.0.2(android 7.0/ a3003_28_170114) to 4.1.7 version, as it showed automatically on my phone. I have been ignoring updates after hearing bad reviews of last updates.

    What benefits will it get? And what I have been missing since that version.


    Late to the party. I know. But kindly help.

    Read 143 pages of replies? I have missed many updates I suppose. And the problem is this is the thread only for latest update which again have battery drain issues mentioned many a times. Which on the first place stopped me to do any update at all. Should I dive in or not :0

    How about reading the first post on this thread. Every release since 4.0.2 has indicated the changes. There is a search function in the website not the community app.

    Secondly people's experiences are always going to be different, assuming that there will ever be a release without incidences of battery drain is a fantasy.

    Try it yourself and you'll know the answer.

    Are you facing any issues for now on 4.0.2 running.
    Are you sure,you can do without the latest security updates.
    If not there is any issue and not bothered about security updates ,,then you may not need this update.
