Should have posted in existing official 4.1.7 thread instead of creating a new thread.

What have you tried like clear cache in recovery and storage settings ? , clear data of camera? Or anything?

    Give a feedback!

    Hi,

I'm suffering from a very slow Wifi over my home network. I compared the speed in speedtest with a Xiaomi redmi note 2\my old lap top and while they were able to reach 40-50mbps the OP3T was able to reach 8mbps only. I made the test while sitting at the same distance from the router (1.5 Meter) and I choose the same server in all of them (of course it was done one after another and not in the same time).
I tried to clean chace - didn't help.
I tried to set the phone to look for 2.4GHZ only because I don't have 5GHZ im my home - it didn't help.

I don't know what else can be done.
If you have any solution I will be very thankful to hear it..

Thanks for reporting here. Gps is essential for me and my job so I will not update the firmware cause I cannot go mad installing and uninstalling apps and settings.

Why open a new thread when the question (if that's what this is) is about the last OP3T update?
There is an official release thread. Common sense would suggest asking in that thread, right?

Thread merged. Seek assistance here please

No there is no reported heating problem in op3t for OOS 4.1.7
Make sure you don't have any apps which are hogging your CPU
Clear your app (from storage settings) and system caches (from recovery menu).
And next time ask a straightforward question (and not like is anyone has this .... problem) and post some details such as screenshots of battery logs, power consumption by apps (from any browser)

I've been from OOS 4.1.7 to OOS BETA. I wanted something new experience and new UI improvement on OOS BETA. But when I using it for 2 - 3 day with OOS BETA, I feel something unpleasant like lagging, bad battery life. I flash back official OOS 4.1.7 on my OP3. I clean data, erase everything and format my phone back just like new out of a box. Now I'm satisfy with it. I just want say thanks to the OnePlus team for great stability OS for the OP3. Thank you.

I think, if you'd done the same on beta as what you've done going back to 4.1.7, your problems would have been solved.

    But that's just talk afterwards.

When I flash the OOS Beta, I wipe all my data, format, wipe cache everything. But I don't know. No luck maybe

Did you restore apps and data through Google backup? There, something could have gone wrong.

Edit: love you account name, so easy to remember. :D

When you flash the beta it is not compulsory to format the device, you can do it like an upgrade (local upgrade).

I did not restore apps and data after flash OB 23 because I need fresh and clean experience to the OB 23 but maybe because it " Beta " so I prefer the official OS.
