How many of you think this should be discussed in the release thread?

There is a thread solely dedicated to the release thread and issues with it, why didnt you use that?

4.1.7 already has a dedicated thread, why not use it?

    1) Hey guys. So I updated to 4.1.7. I connected my phone to a Bluetooth speaker. The connection was successful. But.. The music didn't play through the speaker. It didn't play through the phone speaker either. But I still could hear the music. It was coming from the phone. But from the aluminum/metal are at the very top. It's very strange! not sure if anyone else has experienced this yet. I think it's a bug.

    2) Plus, my OP3 doesn't automatically connect to a Bluetooth speaker it's already paired with previously several times. I have to pair it manually every single time. It wasn't the case before 4.1.3. Sometimes I get an error message saying it can't connect. Sometimes it doesn't even detect the Bluetooth speaker.

I hope OnePlus addresses these things (if they're quite common) before the termination of software support for OP3/3T devices.

This strange happening occurred after installing 4.1.7, have you considered discussing it in the 4.1.7 release thread?

I updated with opera VPN using Germany the first day it was available by reading the thread and seeing what others did... (you're shocked, I know.)

I had a glitchy screen and the was fixed by clearing the cache a time or two and rebooting the phone.

I've had HORRIBLE battery stats since. Even after a couple cycles. I decided to factory reset and this SEEMS to have helped. Back everything up, save your pics on Google photos. And factory reset.

So you have to re-download a bunch of ish... If it'll fix the problems you're having because you've decided to update when you knew it wasn't stable, and will stop the constant complaining, just freaking do it. If you're a real android lover, you're used to it anyhow.

Please read before posting. I've been through EVERY page before posting this. Every. Single. Page. It's not that difficult.

Well with WiFi and mobile network switched off that is not a surprise. Same thing happens with the 4.1.6 , at least on my 3T. When the phone cannot update all the apps that use the Internet, battery drain should be minimal as it is acting like an old Nokia 3310...
