Hi there to all of you, who are so eager to get the new updates before everyone else.

I've read and followed the update threads from 4.5.11, .12 and now .13 from start to end. And I'm still wondering why some people are so eager to get the newest update - unless they have a problem with the current release.

You know what - I havn't got the updates either.
    I didn't get the 4.5.11 update.
    I didn't get the 4.5.12 update
And I haven't got the 4.5.13 update yet - lets see if I get it before another bug is discovered and fixed...

And you know what? I'm more than happy waiting for the update to arrive at my device, when it does.
If I don't receive an update, it means that there are one or more errors in the this update.

I'm more that happy, that there are so many people, who are willing to risk the stability of their device by downloading update after update, until the rest of the world is to receive a hopefully errorfree update.

So to all of you not living in Canada or Germany, sit back, relax and wait for the update. It will come to you when it is ready for the rest of the world, and be glad that you are not one of the guinea pigs.

Btw, I'm living in Denmark, a small country in the northern Europe. Some says we are the happiest people in the world, because of our beer... :D
And I'm very very satisfied with my OP5 - the snappiest device I've ever had. I've had no problems what so ever with this device. :p

Please stay cool out there! ;)

I agree with you, i bought the phone for the same reason especially the performance but lately regarding the camera it's not performing good with issues like noisy shots low light issue and vid recording.
The biggest problem with the phone for me since i bought op5 and i received the second update the wifi performs very weak and until now no update fix it at all, and lately the news about oneplus collecting data from the users and transmitting it to server along with each device's serial number, i am really disappointed cause i used to like oneplus, but maybe it's the time to buy the google pixel 2 xl.

because 4.5.11 had some bug that OnePlus figured out later and stopped that update from rolling out, and they fixed it and rolled out 4.5.12 and found some more bugs and stopped rollout and fixed those and now you're getting 4.5.13 [e]1f609[/e]

    nothing big ^_^

I hv also tried turbovpn but still my OP5 does not show either of the updates 4.5.11 or 4.5.12. What shall I do. It show 4.5.10 is the latest update.

Nice try but as long as people don't even read and understand what a roll out in stages means such
posts don't bother them. They just spam further their sentences. This forum here is a nightmare in case
    of such things.

Can you then explain what are the rollout stages for 4.5.13 update so people like me do not panic and wonder if there is a problem in our handsets. I am one of the people who have not received 4.5.11 or 4.5.12 updates, still on 4.5.10 version. And hence wondering is there a problem in my handset as it says 4.5.10 is the latest update, attached is the screenshot.

You didn't receive 11 and 12 because they were withdrawn. You will receive 13 when it is your turn.

@Jimmy Z. It would be interesting to state in your announcement post between which releases the comparison of highlights is done, between this newest release and the last one that was rolled out globally. (I.e. "Here are the highlights since 4.5.10".) As said many time above by other forum members, the changelogs from 4.5.10 to 4.5.13 look almost alike. I mean: was there really I high noticeable improvement of launching speed of apps between 4.5.10 to 4.5.11, and then from 4.5.11 to 4.5.12, and now from 4.5.12 to 4.5.13?

If you are comparing evolution from the last release, there is no need to repeat changes that were applied to last release. No need to fake there were a lot of changes if only a small number of bugfixes were applied.
