Yes indeed. It can be switched off. Pay attention to the last option in below screenshot.

Thanks for this even if it just points out which things have been changed. But this could mean nearly everything. Even if the Dev would delete some comments in the code or just use another style of coding. There is no information what actually is changed or has been improved.

Not necessarily true. A lot of these are blob changes where the new binaries of the libraries are dropped into the change. They wouldn't do it unless there is really a change in that binary to minimize the OTA update.

As we don't have access to the ROM source code, there's no way no know about what features or bugfixes the OTA add. We can't rely on OnePlus changelog cause they don't put everything in it.
But we can guess... and observe.
Remember the 4.7.5 changelog ? Yup, we had one line "General bug fixes". That's why it's useful to know a bit more about what you are flashing on your daily device.

Over the 4300+ files in the ROM, only 500 were changed. But these also include version change, so many many files aren't really new, it's just old one with new metadatas.
I carefully check each change and see if it's worth mentionning.

Great job, by the way! I saw someone just extracted the blob and post them on github. It could be an easy way to see those changes. https://github.com/hkoivuneva/proprietary_vendor_oneplus_5t

Thank you. Unfortunately this link is kinda useless for analysis. It includes part of ROM from 4.7.0 & 4.7.2 but nothing we already had with the full system extract. We won't have the source code since it belongs to OnePlus.

There aren't any fixes to the aptx HD codec for WH-1000XM2 owners unfortunately...
Other than that this update has been good.

I think depend upon counties there will be change in os. so some countries may not get 4.7.5. 4.7.5 was only 27 mb that too it was some bug issue.

My thoughts as well. Not only is the rollout regional, the OS may vary per region itself. I'm waiting a few days. Entirely too much impatience here, people asking about vpns when they don't understand what a VPN is.

US not getting 4.7.5 was by design.
