Thread merged. Pls read first post.
"Remember, currently any device with an unlocked bootloader will fail while tying to update. Please backup your data and then re-lock your device. (This will cause your device to be fully wiped, please be careful!) You will then be able to proceed with the update."

On 5.0.1, I tried yo access a link from Engadget and I have received the error, bellow.

Then I realized it's related to Android System WebView that is disabled and can't be enabled, see below.
Anyone experiencing the same issue ?

I'm not a developer what do you understand? I paid money for the phone and I want it to work well, not crooked !!! with points on the focus and with green artifacts in third-party applications in the camera

So is there a way to update without needing to wipe? I have an unlocked bootloader and want to keep it without wiping! Or will OxygenOS 5.0.2 be able to be installed with no wipe?

If you had bothered to read the first post of the thread you would realise that the updates are rolled out in stages, smaller markets first, and then if the update is stable it begins to roll out to larger markets. This reduces the possibility of unnoticed bugs reaching large numbers of people. This first Oreo update is a case in point. The original release of OS 5.0.0 had bugs. Hence the update was withdrawn before it reached India and many other countries. Now 5.0.1 has been released and again it will roll out in stages to ensure that bugs do not hit the larger markets. Now, would you rather be the first to receive a buggy update, or would you not rather be patient for a few more days and receive a bug free update? Which do you think is the better option?

TWRP by codeworks (found on XDA) worked for me
