Ok thanks for the information
With regards to battery drainage, check the various threads on the forum to fix it.
Release 5.0 was only temporarily halted. If continued eventually.
Yes, you should update. If only for the security fixes.
no I am talking about battery displayer, how he had done it?
Go to settings>status bar>battery style, select battery circle.
Hi, I'm using one plus 3T, after OS 5.0.1 OTA my fingerprint not working. could you help me about this issue please??
Did you perform a factory reset after upgrading to 5.0.1 ?
No, don't know how to do that... could you let me know the options please?
Apologies, this post has been deleted by author.
When the next stable update with bugfixes ?
when we perform factory reset, do we lose the entire phone data please???
Yes, all data will be lost.
Create a backup and store it externally on pc or hd
not necessarily. They're 2 options that you receive when doing a factory update from within the operating system. 1 option is to wipe the entire phone including user data and on other option which keeps user data in tact and erases all applications.
if the reset is done from the recovery partition then you may not be given an option to retain user data
I'm no expert but i think OnePlus has made some changes in the kernal with 5.0.2 so the battery life is not great as it use to be on 5.0.1
there are 2 options in recovery as well.
There are more serious issues in this update than even battery, like I cannot hear anything during calls. This makes the phone totally useless without earphones.
OP when fixes something, destroys something else more important.
That's what stable users get for telling the devs to focus more on quantity (features) over quality (polished builds)
