So, two features are available only on beta versions
While For a better camera experience, i have to use an apk from xda..and why? Because op team is so busy to develop a better, official camera app?

Anyway, thank you for answer and support

Hi guys, december 2017 I could install OS 5.0. I'm not so good at software issues, might they occur... Therefore I waited to read first experiences before updating my own device (OP 3). As you all know OP deleted the update 5.0.
I've waited a long long time to update to OS 5.0 or more, but all I keep seeing is the possibility to update to 4.5.1 ?! Can anyone of you guys explain to me why I can't update to OS 5 or more? I live in Belgium...
PS. The answer is probably somewhere within this topic, but damn I can't seem to find it...
Be kind,I don't need another rant, those where easier to find haha. Thnx.

adaptive brightness is overly aggressive. sitting in my car in the middle of the day it reduces the brightness considerably

You should be able to update to OOS 5.0.1. it's normally available on the oneplus site, therefore I think it's also still available as OTA, although I'm not 100% sure as I lost track on what's going on at OnePlus. If i were you, I would wait for next update to roll out and see if you get a notification for this update (keep an eye on this forum).

Another possibility is to download the full zip on your phone, copy it to the "root" of the file manager (so not in a folder), and perform a local update:

Settings, system updates, toggle wheel, local update.

someone please help me with this.
WiFi Scanning is draining my battery. Even though I turn it off under WiFi Preferences, it somehow turns on again and keeps scanning for networks.

    You got that wrong.
The 5.0 was never removed from the website.
So nothing was deleted and the same update was and still is available with no other issues.

How exactly did you get into the conclusion that Wifi is draining your battery?
Do you have any way to proof that?
I have my wifi On 24/7 and have no draining at all when I don't use internet.
And I have images to prove it.

There comes 5.0.4 for OP5 with the following bug fixes

    Changelog:
    Bug Fixes
    • Fixed NO ringtone for incoming calls and notifications
    • Fixed Audio quality related issues during video playback
So I guess even OP3/T also can get the same as lots of them complaining the same with our devices also. But no ETA or dont know if it can pull over or not, but just hope and wait.

Seems he is with Ver 4.1.7 or 4.5.0 for now.
That's why he is getting only the 4.5.1 OTA update to be seen in system update.
And AFAIK he needs to update to the last Nougat build 4.5.1 to get stable Oreo build update
