Dear Friend why is it we all are asking questions instead of identifying the solution which is right infront of our eyes in this forum.

Pls search or scroll up and down and find the solution and in either way the update will come to you eventually to all... Maximum of 7-10days time is all that may take.

    Keep Rocking

This vibrate on tap different from vibrate on finger print. On earlier android version. I had vibrate on tap disabled. However it did vibrate on finger print scanner. Now that's gone with Oreo update. So this is a change in New version

Is it true that we can customise the spacing of the Navigation Buttons after upgrading to Android Oreo? If yes, how can we do it? Thank you.

    Not another one!
I am getting bored with these now. When, oh when, will people learn to read pinned posts or do a search before starting yet another new thread with the same question we've seen hundreds of times?

It's funny how OnePlus thinks people are sheep and naive. They strategically set up a schedule of releasing phones in June and November. This is not random. It's done this way so they are in the middle of the Android level. What do I mean by that? The 3T was released in Nov 2016 with 2015 version of Android. The 5T was released in Nov 2017 with 2016 version of Android. Official images of current year's Android versions become available in August of that year. That way they can say our phones get 2 major OS updates. In reality, you are getting 1 year of support and maybe few more months of minor updates. Again, MAYBE because Oneplus' record is horrible and unpredictable (One was CM, 2 and X were dropped almost immediately, 3 and 3T are all over the place in quality of OS releases and security updates jump 4-5 months at the time, etc.).

So, just wanted to add a few points to all those replies here, with reference to India...

    1) I personally didn't get the OTA update from OnePlus directly. You can try using VPN services and get connected to Germany or Canada (where I saw that updates were rolled out). I couldn't get the update via this method. In that case, you can download something called Oxygen Os Update, which is an unofficial app on the Play Store. Follow the instructions and lo! You got the update.

    2) Some new OnePlus 5T users complained that the device took a lot of time to reboot after the update. Please bear in mind that an update from Nougat to Oreo is a huge one, and you have to be patient for the red dots to finish revolving. It might take about ten minutes maximum.

    3) MKey is just some trashcan app that came with the update. Please feel free to uninstall it as Adam Krisko has already pointed out.

    4) MAJOR POINT THAT HASN'T BEEN COVERED, I GUESS: Vodafone and Airtel users - this is a major update for you guys. Both these companies have rolled out VoLTE services. You don't need to do anything to get the update to VoLTE from your previous cellular plan: just get the Oreo update. It should come up automatically. However, it does take time for this (in my case it took a day) for this to be implemented. You should see the VoLTE symbol near the battery/network speed symbol. "HD" should come up while you're on a voice call.

As of now, I haven't faced any problems yet. In case any, please post them here.

Feel free to add something if you want.

    :)
