    no it's not a ROM. it's a regular update. you can just download and select local install. and no bugs as of now. in fact the Battery seems better and transition seems smooth

    This OTA will have a staged rollout, the OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs, so using VPN to download this build might not work as the rollout Is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices.

    I am on open beta 39 on my op3. if that was last open beta update then how can I move back to get normal OTA updates? will that release any update so that open beta users can merge with OTA or I need to do it manually.

    How can I flash the stable OxygenOS 5.0.5 over Beta 39? It won't let me do it, even in the recovery menu it tells me I'm doing a downgrade.

    In older OxygenOS versions this checking mechanism wasn't there and I effectively changed back and fort from stable to beta and the other way around without any issues.

    yes, I believe you, the issue is that I have received the update but the camera is still KO, so I think it definitely damaged the module
