OxygenOS 5.0.8(HotFix) OTA for the OnePlus 3 & 3T

    G_Meet_Mandaliya_NKVe, Jan 11, 2019 :
It seems like oneplus has also started giving out updates with bugs so that people would loose interest in their current devices just like Apple. I downloaded and installed the latest update given out by oneplus for 3T. After the update, I am facing several issues like

    - My fingerprint sensor stopped working suddenly without any reason. (fingerprint hardware not available)
    - Started facing system lag.
    - Applications could not run properly.
    - Internet Connectivity gets lost very often now. Phone not working properly even on WiFi.
    - Battery drainage issue started coming up.
    - Games got slow running even though there is sufficient lots of space left in phone. Seems like there is problem with RAM now.
    - Sudden extreme low voice in incoming calls.

Please solve all these bugs. Was so much loving my phone. Was spending good word of mouth for Oneplus but I might think about it for sometime now.

Which version are you referring to?
My op3 running 5.0.8 is perfectly fine.

The latest update ie. OOS 5.0.8 is just as stable as before with no bugs or issues on my OnePlus 3T.
Maybe try clearing out your cache storage, or uninstalling any APK apps you've got.

Same on my op3. It's working fine.
Check if you need to clear cache in recovery mode.

Even i am facing bit system wide lag and battery drainage issue after the update. I have wiped the cache from recovery, but its of no use.

If you have so many issues with your phone then always do a factory reset and if still issues exists then something wrong has happened.
All of a sudden ring tone is not working. Will have to check with setting other than that no issue. Getting SOT of around 5 to 6 hours.

Maybe, in future, OnePlus could start a thread for each release, wherein users could discuss issues and solutions, save each user opening their own?

So you're saying OnePlus is releasing updates with bugs??

That's odd, I've updated my phone some time ago, as well as a lot of people did and it seems to me the majority of the users seem to have no issues at all or seem to be capable of solving them.......strange??

Sure, I could do a Tutorial on how to simply not care about any unproven planed obsolescence to still have a great experience even with an two years old device.... ;D

    But no...

Bit of a strange business plan, release shit software updates, so any sensible user bins their device and buys one from a different manufacturer, damn these inscrutable Chinese.

Your report is very helpful, like "Applications could not run properly.". I'm sure Oneplus will know exactly what do you mean that apps could not run properly, in their crystal ball.

What did you do to try to resolve this problems? Did you factory reset? Can you explain the steps to reproduce the problems?
