Check your current version, if you are on open beta 18 then you can download or if you are on current open beta 19 then this update is of no use.

If your 5/5T is still working, then wait.
It's obviously a slow rollout, and there could be a good reason for it, its not been unknown for rollouts to be slowed, or even halted - no rush

I still haven't gotten the update, but it's never taken this long for me to get an update. I understand it is a staged rollout but I would think it would take less than 2 weeks.

Guys, if you haven't received the update, feel lucky, if you already received it and has not updated yet, DO NOT DO IT!!, the new update has issues with Bluetooth and spontaneous reboots, a lot of people is complaining in the support forum (go and check it if you don't believe me), me included, this is the first time I'm facing issues with an OTA update, don't force the update (VPN), if you received the update, I recommend to skip it or wait for OP confirmation that the bugs has been resolved.

I'm NOT the one complaining bout this update or that I cant get it. I could not care less about it !
OnePlus can take as long as they want to roll out this update and I also could not care less if it is bugged or not.

What I'm talking about is that there are 120+ pages of complaints about this damned update and it's gone well beyond a joke.

STOP complaining about not getting it you will get it when you get it OK !!
As to why some users are having problems after getting this update while others are not I have no idea about.

Personally my OP 5T is running the OB19 firmware and I have no problems with my phone at all.
Also I have just bought a OP 6 and am enjoying that very much.

sorry for the rant I have gotten rather irritated by the constant and never ending whinging about this update.

"A few days" is very broad. So is a few weeks. The point is, this time Oneplus is taking too long rolling out this update, considering the last one was back in early September. We get it. It's not easy to build a rom, a stable one nonetheless. But be a bit more realistic please.
It has been almost two weeks since this post of yours and still nothing. So, please don't say "a few days" when it won't be a few days. You get our hope up for nothing.
Keep up the good work and thank you.

People shouldn't have to go to external sources or apps to receive an update. It's been nearly 2 weeks since this update has come out and there are still very many people that haven't received it through proper channels.

They have obviously found something wrong with it, and that's why most haven't received it.

in the end, communication is lacking and all this blow back could be diffused by just admitting it.

if a full rollout hasn't happened by now, it never will.

    so quit waiting for it.

Great phones that have good support for six months until their full attention is given to the new phones.

My phone is fine. I don't need an update. I'm happy with 8.1 or 5.1.5.

But the drawings are on the wall. This company is too small to keep pumping out phones with a small group of developers that isn't big enough to support all their offerings. No matter what they say.

So the phone works fine. But ask yourself. If there was truly something wrong with functionality with your phone, would you be happy little to no attention was paid to it?

Until OP can prove their sustainability on support for every phone they bring out, not just the new ones, why continue buying? For the latest hardware?

Great. my 5T is a millisecond slower in loading a web page than your shiny 6T.

Whatever will you do with that extra time?

They haven't even listed it on their site. 5.1.5 is still the latest.

This update has been pulled and that's all there is to it. they should delete this entire thread
