I made my update from vpn - France.
Bluetooth always worked fine, the rest okay, just had battery drainning fast. But if you read on the previous page I solved the problem with some known steps. There are a lot of people here who complain about this and that, but then they do not try nothing to solve it and the problem is on their own phones and not on the updates. The update is the same in vpn, in my opinion.

I had this experience with one of the updates. I don't know if it's coincidence but the only time I updated via VPN I had a stutter effect in animation which would not go away. At the next update, it was gone. I really can't say it's general but I do believe it's a link there.

And take this. Oneplus 6T has got a new useless update today. I don't know why these guys are literally neglecting 5/ 5T.
I think they will work on more updates for 6/6T before delivering pie to 5/5T.
They are purposefully delaying the update rollover by slow push outs so that to pass time and engaging their manpower etc to shine 6T to make users attract and buy.
The same situation will come to 6T after one year.

Yes. You are the only one. Nobody else is asking about the update.

Maybe, but... I have always read in this forum that you should use "wipe cache" before and after any updates and it is normal for the phone's performance to suffer with the update and be improved after that. Batteries to drain fast, slowness of applications, connectivity problems, etc ... are often solved like this, not always but very helpful. And I have always used vpn without any relevant problems.
But there are many factors that can cause problems. The ideal would be to do a full reset before the update and install it on top of a clean OS and without the great mix of software that is already installed ...

And I would not call them changes, but maintenance and improvement operations. ;)
