    Dude stop wiping caches

Wiping caches harms more than it helps and will actually reduce performance

OnePlus does have a different opinion. I'm not telling them to do "wipe cache" for nothing. But I would personally do it, if the next step was to send my device back to OnePlus for inspection.

    Learn how android works

Wiping cache is going to harm more than it helps

You do not even know for yourself what's in the cache yet you'll tell people to wipe it

I got my new one plus 6T today. Really proud to have the best unboxed. My former love for the 3T is still on peaks but the new device raises above the limits. Hoping to see greater heights as we NEVER SETTLE. [e]1f60d[/e][e]1f60d[/e]

Got My First ever OnePlus product and I so happy to say it's amazing and so fluid. Some minor improvements can be done with later updates

1- data speed is hidden due beautiful dew drop notch well doesn't matter much.

2- Selfie Watermark is missing, wish they will provide it soon

3- Rear Nightsight should be given. I know OnePlus will provide it.

    Thank you

Assuming your device is functioning properly and the cache has not been corrupted, clearing the cache will cause the device to use more battery AND the device will be significantly slower while the cache is being rebuilt. The purpose of the cache is to store frequently used data in order to speed up repetitive operations. Its sort of like RAM. If your device had no cache partition it would run like crap as it would always have to file everything away and look it back up every time.

I do know what Wiping Cache does, just so you know, you don't talk to someone who has no idea about.. I also do know that you know.

Sorry but I'd like you to try again

The name "cache" is a misnomer and doesn't contain "temporary files" or anything else that you're claiming

It doesn't become slower because the cache is rebuilding but instead becomes slower because it is unable to build it right away
