Op devs haven't kept up with the promise of stable updates every 2 months. They should at least be able to give security updates on time. They're definitely working on OP7. And some loyalists still blindly defend them after this.

Nobody is blindly defending them. We are using facts though.

OnePlus puts out official updates every two months or so. The last one was in February. The next one will most likely be this month.

So either be patient or install the beta software that has the later security patches.

Which device, or you mean 5g compatible? and how much do you think it would have cost by then when 5G wasn't even as pronounced as now not to talk of how many countries 5g services is already deployed

the OP6T has the snapdragon 845 which isn't 5G compatible , but the OP7 supposedly has the snapdragon 855 which also supposedly is compatible.

According to Verizon's own website, a test for 5G is available in Chicago and Minneapolis so far. Besides, the Qualcomm chip, Snapdragon 845, is not 5G compliant. If you live in those Verizon test areas, your best bet is the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.

That is for the old 6 right
the point of that article is how *** backwards it is that Samsung makes folks w/ UNLOCKED phones wait until everyone with a LOCKED phone gets the update first....makes zero sense.
