    Hey everyone,

We are starting to push the incremental rollout of OxygenOS 9.0.13 for the OnePlus 6T and 9.0.5 for OnePlus 6.

    Changelog

    • System
      • Updated Android security patch to 2019.3
      • General bug fixes and system improvements
    • Community
      • Introducing feedback tool for reporting bugs and submitting feature requests
For those who were on previous versions, we appreciate your active feedback for reaching out to us. With your help, we have been able to better optimize and improve several key areas. Thank you for your patience.

We have had our feedback tool integrated into community app under testing in Open Betas for a while now, and it's time for the Feedback section to be part of our stable builds. You can now submit bug reports, product suggestions, and feature requests seamlessly from the community app and the best part is that it automatically captures the required logs based on the issue you are reporting, thus making it easier for our team to address issues and track feedback.

Do try out the new Feedback tool and if you have any questions or need help, please contact bughunters@oneplus.com. For more information on submitting bugs or suggestions please refer to How to report a bug and feel free to share your product suggestions via the Community app.

As always, this OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we'll begin a broader rollout in a few days.

Your feedback is appreciated. We may not always be able to respond to every comment in the forums, but please be assured that we take your comments and feedback seriously. Hope you enjoy and let us know how you feel about the update in the comments below.

    Never Settle.

We heard some feedback regarding the security patch update in the comments.

Each software build follows three testing stages: Closed Beta - Open Beta - Official Release. We always aim at providing you with the latest security patch available, but the entire testing process needs roughly 15-20 days to complete. This means that, sometimes, the official release may have a security patch update of the previous month. Still, most beta builds are released with the latest security patch.

No new in this update other than security patch...There are features introduced in beta programs, at least few should be stable and can be given in this...

Yea seriously OP team should have given April security patch as there is nothing new in this update. OP team please rework on your priorities in regards to security updates. If only March security was to be given then this update should have come by 2nd week of March itself.

March Security patch? That's really sad to hear. April patch had quite a lot of fixes.

I guess all the efforts are on with OP7. This seems to be the recurring story every year when OP launches a new device.

After more than 2 months all we get is "fixes", security patch that's almost 2 months old and community app update that should have been done via play store?
    Really?!
The least they could have done was to include april patch.
Beta channel for oneplus 5 and 6 have april patch, the op3 will also have april patch once it receives stable pie and we will be stuck on march patch for another 2 months???!
    THIS IS SUCH B*******

Sorry, but this is not accurate. The functionality being updated now is deeply integrated into the OS and a simple app update wouldn't be enough.

As explained above, the new update allows the feedback tool to work as a proper bug reporting tool, with logs that help identify the source of said bug.
