Downloading with Germany VPN, at least got March Security patch, I had already updated all the stock apps like Camera Launcher Community etc through apkmirror, and I'm happy with those updates, I believe camera has improved, after updating its apk manually

You are the embarassment. That was your comment. That's the equivalent of a child saying I know you are but what am I? I thought it was a great reply to your meaningless one.
And then you reply with that comment?
    Apparently you are 12.
    Embarrassed for you man....

I don't care about security updates.
Just because your phone isn't totally up to date doesn't mean you're suddenly in danger?
Anyone get thier phones hacked in the last 2 months? No? huh.... imagine that

DISAPPOINTED !! thousand of bugs but still they manage to give only security update ..

Now moderate And oneplus Bhakht ( Followers ) will say that where are the bugs , you can use These app or that .,, Its not related to OP. . Guys Stop putting your thinking & words into OP Loyal Customer ..

    1) Pathetic Battery life
    2) Heating issue
    3) After call Bug ( Many of them face )
    4) Android auto bug ( During AA , calls got muted , so attend those calls I have to unplug the cable then i proceed with call ..

Dont call Its AA issue or Car audio issue cause this issue is exclusively to OP 6 & 6T ..

Before making a new model every company should try their best to give the best experience possible from their products. That means full commitment to the software so the developers and customers feel satisfied with the product before even thinking of moving to next model.

I think that most companies are in a rush and just focusing on short term profit. This is why the first iPhones were successful, they took their time and perfected the stability and experience of the devices. Then they also started the competition against Samsung and both companies started pushing out new models like changing diapers on babies.
Now see the results, Apple has lost their credibility to deliver premium quality devices, that is also a problem with Samsung. Huawei has the edge now because they took some time to work with their best models.

OnePlus where you want to be is not based on the amount of products you push out, it is the quality and reliability from both hardware and software in the products you already have delivered to your customers.

Best regards, from a reasonable middle aged man with life experience

google claims a security update should not be older than 90 days. the janauary patch was almost 4 months old, even the phone system marks it red.
the problem with the phone is: We're always getting old security patches, instead of waiting a couple of days more and include the new patch... This way, the phone will be systematicly running behind security standarts, given out by google itself...
not to mention the april security patch fixed some issues marked as critically...
i can't tell if my phone has been hacked... i don't think so. but is it to much to ask to have a security patch that is not oder than 3 months? other companies are able to do it, Oneplus is not.. so for me Oneplus is not as save as other phones, and don't stick to google's requirements. ... if they do give out old patches they should give out more updates. it's just that easy...
i know some people have a different view in this, but you can't deny Oneplus is doing a bad job here... (or at least not as good as others)
