The battery is fine, most of the time it's user error like bad apps or not understanding what apps drain it the most like PUBG.

If you care about refering to the change log of the update u will be using at any given time though it doesn't matter. I once updated through local upgrade using downloaded zip file as the update didn't show and after updating when I checked for change log, well there wasn't any. Though we can refer to the change log at the site itself from where we download the zip file..

The problem is not joining Open Beta but for a lot of users, leaving it. See this post, here.

Also, it helps if you have a good working knowledge of Android and its terminology as it tends not to be a, "spoon feeding", thread and users are usually expected to read and search before posting.

It is not all wine and roses as the OnePlus 5/5T users found out earlier this year found out when an Open Beta release, "bricked", their phones.

Currently, we are experiencing a bit of an issue with the test use of ZRAM in the latest Open Betas, that has created a noticeable lag and battery drain. The only way to disable this is by rewriting the build.prop file. Not something for noobs. ;)

You should've been here when people were complaining about gesture navs being beta-only for a few months. Hoo boy, I'm sure you'd have been livid about that.

Thank you. I think I would not mind not seeing the change log, so I'll update by flashing the .zip. Thanks for the help.

one plus 6 is not a flagship killer by any means it doesn't have IP68 rating,QHD display, stereo speakers, rear and front camera are average without using GCAM even with GCAM it can't compare with flagship.
OP6 is just a higher midrange phone with a flagship chipset.

    Shame, OnePlus..
big big shame and a shameful update.
so many features in beta but none on the OTA.
I would like to see the OnePlus fanboys and the people who clap their hands at every thing any OnePlus employee will write.
not to mention the self proclaimed all knowing biased moderators who know nothing other than threatening me with warnings in my PM , with the intention of keeping my mouth shut.
im sure they must be doing it to other people who will write anything against OnePlus.

    a big big shame.

The T-Mobile (USA) 6T carrier minority variant does not run the stock global OxygenOS firmware for the 6T mentioned on this thread which is now on 9.0.13, but rather, an ersatz carrier version that is on their version 9.0.4 and has the old camera version, 2.9.43, and the January 2019 Android Security patch. See, also... 6T TMobile version vs unlocked and T-Mobile 6T to Global model Conversion (WITHOUT unlocked bootloader/SIM unlock!)

OnePlus have become mean day by day they are the not the same one we trust they have become money minded now . they push stable update in in 2 to 3 months and add no features at all. the brightness issue haven't fixed at all but it's been added in beta ages ago.. Totally disappointed I m switching to Samsung again.

lol why do you need to pay 1000$ for a flagship? You can easily opt for a year old flagship with similar price to one plus 6/6T with better feature or you can buy mi9 which is lot better than one plus sadly in xiaomi don't sell their flagships in my country.

Forget Samsung. Even the least expected own Chinese counterparts oppo and vivo have been releasing April updates for their latest phones. I thought One plus was known for faster updates. I guess Realme is going to dominate One plus very soon.
David's claim on 15 , 20 days of turnaround is understandable, but in this age automation, they better refine their processes.
