Hi, clear the data and cache for the camera app. Then restart the phone.
All 3 steps and in that order.
Hopefully this is one of the general bug fixes coming this update.

I would like to believe that the reason why they didn't give any change is because they're working on the newer version of OOS?

    You are too optimistic.

They are busy with the stupid Oneplus 7 line up.

That's because security patches come from Google directly. All a company has to do is to commit those changes in their code and compile a new update. It shouldn't take more than a few days and it shouldn't require extensive testing in my eyes, as the code for it would have been already code reviewed by so many people until it actually got pushed by Google. So us getting a month old security update + just that feedback tool is an useless update which was only released so that THEY will keep up with their promises of bi-monthly updates.

That's the reason why they added that line which has been there in the last 3 updates too... "bug fixes and improvements". Yeah, sure. It is just a line left there to give the impression this is somewhat a major update when in fact it is not.

There were things added and improved in the previous open beta and they were not added into this stable branch. Stable branch has become a joke.

Finally got OOS 9.0.5 OTA this morning.... will observe how it performance. from past experience with updates, you can expect anything out of blue to crop up..... while this is only 94 mb package that company claims has security patches n all, it still may have potential to spoil performance ... I'll keep you guys updated on how see the device perform after 2-3 days
