SOT is really the main factor. But after an update, is can take a couple of full battery cycles for the battery usage to stabilize. Also charge your phone overnight, at least occasionally, for the system to optimize.

Done that, It did help in the 9.0.7 update but, fails to do so in this one.

I have done that for like 3 consecutive nights but, no help.

Wrong Strategy, this made my battery go from 97% charge to direct 100% charge in 3 mins and when I discharge at 100% it went straight from 100% to 97% in just half an hour on standby with WiFi location off and I don't open WiFi and location when charging, this method of charging overnight is dumb, I would be satisfy in living with a battery for 10 hours only rather than 2 days with this system.

I think you are confused. There is no system or strategy. And who charges a phone at 97%?

I meant this strategy, charge your phone to 100% and then leave it overnight for apps to optimize the system is just a dumb strategy of making your battery better in my opinion, I did this process and it made my battery slipped from 100% to 97% in just half an hour without doing anything so I would say if you want more out of your battery then charge it till 97% and let go don't charge it at 100% or more than that as you mentioned overnight that would be better in terms of usage in future rather than optimizing system that would make battery worse in the future.

I meant to say there is no system or strategy. And as to charging overnight, I would expect this would be from 15 or 20%, not 97 or 100% and occasionally. Maybe this post will help for a better understanding:

Don't believe in what people say, believe in yourself, keeping my battery till 97% and charging it on 5% gives me a good battery backup and no problems and it would be good if you don't charge it overnight, just in single charge my result is fantastic, sorry I have to come in OnePlus 6 and 6t thread and I am on OnePlus 5T, the battery messages were been discussed so I came in, just wanted to tell people about it, in the end it's your choice no others.

I have no issue with battery time between charges of 3 day (5 days over weekends). But for long term battery life, I would not recommend discharging the battery to single digits, especially 1% !!!

I also don't charge it on 5% but often do below it, it is fine with that but overnight charging is not good in my option, anyways everyone would be different in their options as everyone have their own way of using their smartphone.

You can not overcharge a phone. Maybe 30 years ago, overcharging was a concern. Modern electronics can control that. Also, when the battery indicates 100% its not really at 100%. No engineer would design any electrical system to operate at or to 100%. The 100% battery display is for non-technical consumers.

Good Mechanics, will do more research on it so we could get more information on how Li-Pro and Li-Lon battery works

I used the Beta version 13 and now I'm using the latest stable version 9.0.15.
-I've noticed some issues with battery life , it's not as good as the beta
-the navigation bar is not transparent anymore.

That's possible, though it can be difficult to judge battery performance in the short term. But most features in open beta will come to stable, if they work well.

    HI All,

I am facing below issue and now it come a critical one for me as I use BT headset alot now a days.

Issue: When Bluetooth is ENABLED with WiFi, the WiFi download speed slows down to a crawl of just mere kb/s on ANY network. Yet, while Bluetooth is DISABLED, I achieve normal download speeds in the mb/s ranges.

Any ideas if this software/hardware related? Possible future fix from OP?

Running latest stable update for OP6.

Yes, but it starts working fine when I switch off the Bluetooth or disconnect the BT headphones.

I am not able to use wifi while using any Bluetooth device.
