How do you delete cache on android pie...I can only delete cache from recovery...just asking.
Other than that...the Pie works great on both my OP3 and OP3T...best update yet. Thank you OnePlus(fan forever)

Apparently, you didn't understand what you read. You might as well ask if anybody in Antarctica got the OTA. Just grab it from one of the download links in the thread. Its safe if you use stock recovery

    Hello

After upgraded my 3 to Android Pie, USB-tethering is broken / does not work.
    It's very sad!

High chances to get bricked. Flash Oreo over pie via ADB mode and then reset the device and restart!

go to play store settings..check whether it shows 'Device is certified'.
if not, then wipe data for Google play services and wipe cache for play store..reboot
it will show certified after a moment

Well I've downloaded 5.0.8 build from the website & flashed it from my stock recovery then format the whole phone. There are no problems & device booted up properly, everything is working fine.

Nonsense! Use a Full ROM update and it completely overwrites what was on the system partition previously. In this case a cache wipe would be good. Worst case is you get a bootloop. Reboot once or twice to see if it fixes itself. If not, wipe data and load the phone as new. Internal storage is fine.

To brick it, you need to flash firmware for a different model or something. Reload from fastboot. Its nearly impossible to hard brick it, and if you do, there is a Windows recovery tool to reflash the whole system to stock

Do you get an IP? It could be fixable with root

Fast Battery drainage after Pie based 9.0.2 stable version update. I supposed to charge for twice a day now.
I used to charge for only once while on stable Oreo build usage.

Delayed response or No response with Finger print sensor after pie update of 9.0.2 stable version. I supposed to press power button and then finger print sensor is working. I think it is going to sleep mode while screen off.

Do you know the difference between a brick and a bootloop. If you soft bricked it, then you downloaded the wrong file. Not getting the file for your device will increase the chance of bricking. Downgrading does not.

And what language are you talking about? I haven't started yet

No, I get no IP. And 'root' is not an option, it should run as normal user without modifications.
