Does anyone else has problems with slow waking up the device when pressing the power button or using the fingerprint sensor?

It takes a moment, sometimes 2 seconds, until I can unlock the phone.

turn off the face unlock it will help you .... it will help for the delay in waking up the screen after pressing power button

yeah. I am also having problem with dialler. Dialler is lagging sometimes and when it lags it leads to whole device lagging.

After more than 2 years with OP3t I am disappointed with everthing that happened since the announcment that Android Pie would come to OP3 and 3t. First the waiting, then botched software that destroyed excellent phone, and lastly customer treatment. I even suspect that they did this on purpose so the customers would go for replacement with OP 7. I was thinking that I would go for the upgrade with 7 PRO but after this dissaster I am turning to more serious manufacturers who do not play dumbass with their customers. Good bye OnePlus it was nice knowing you.

I don't have any answers other than the ones that were already given a dozen times...
    I summerize them for you:
    1. be patient and wait for ota
    2. use Oxygen updater
    3. download zip from the other thread about pie update.

now nobody will have to ask the same questions over and over again!
    thread closed! thank you!

Surely a poor customer experience would encourage you to shop elsewhere, not spend more of your cash with the offending vendor?

Well I know several users in the UK who have recieved it, so touche. Then again the ones I know actually READ threads, so would've been able to circumvent the process had they wished to.

Haven't received the OTA notification yet, but for those who have already installed Pie on their 3(t), how is the performance? Battery life?

I'm sure people have already discussed their experiences, but I'm not going to go back through 245+ pages to find out. Lol
