Give it 4-5 full charge cycles, after you wiped cache, to re optimise, then if still having issues try a factory reset with a further period of optimisation. Come back if you've still got issues

When I firstly decided to change the brand that I've used for more than 10 years for OnePuls 3t I thought that It was a good decision. But 2,5 years later I found that OP is the same as the other big brands... ruining top hardware with crappy software.
Now I'm considering other Chinese smartphone brands, looking for longlasting experience!

    What about you?

Hello, I am a Oneplus 3T user from Mumbai, India. After updating the Oneplus 3T for android Pie the battery starts functioning pathetically bad. the battery drains very fast. without any activity, the screen is turned off and no apps running in the background the battery drained from 15% to 11% in just 4 minutes. with very less activity of opening two apps only one being Whatsapp and google chrome the battery drained from 72% to 50% in just less than 25 minutes. when battery information displayed by the phone than it showed maximum battery consumed in face detection. after disabling face detection mode, no improvement seen in the performance of the battery. kindly resolve the issue at the earliest.

Instead of spamming the forums with your issues, why not spend a little time reading? Your experience is not typical hence the issues are with your device not the build.

Post update your device requires at least 3-4 full charge cycles to optimise, if your device has not been through that then please come back when it has.

    Hi,

After updating my phone turned slow. I mainly experience it when I open a new app, usually appears a blue circular arrow for some seconds. I tried to wipe cache, disable animations, change the launcher to nova, etc. It improved just a bit, but the sometimes the lag is exasperating me. I have read several threads (even oneplus 5 or 6), and the only conclusion I got was: factory reset does not solve the issue.

Is there anything I can do to fix it?

    Many thanks!
