I mount 2 SIM in the 3t and I notice that the parallel apps (WhatsApp) go in crash. solutions ??? the same happened with android Oreo and the solution was contactsprovider.apk but on Android Pie I can't find a solution

i prefer to do clean update everytime with big updates!
backing up all your imp data, restting & wiping the storage, & than updating it! i have never faced any issues after that! though its tiresome for some people with lots of data!

try wiping cache under recovery once, it might help solve the issue.

I'm on unlocked bootloader so I'll need to use twrp to install without wiping date so to confirm the steps are.

    1. Install Twrp.
    2. Boot into Twrp & install full Official 9.0 & clear cache.
    3. Reflash Twrp.
    4. To keep Twrp reboot into recovery or just reboot to system for stock recovery.

    Will I encounter encryption issues?
    Did I miss anything?
Do I need a modified Twrp? (if yes which one)

for those who are on community beta builds, you need to enable 'advance mode' under settings tab in 'oxygen updater' app!
