OxygenOS 9.0.2 OTA for OnePlus 6

  1. Lupastro82 Froyo Dec 3, 2018

    Lupastro82, Dec 3, 2018 :
No more update for OP6? Maybe is best to go in beta channel? If yes, do this cause hard reset or I can switch from 9.0.2 to beta 8 without problems and without reset?

    Thanks.

You can flash the beta without any problems and without a reset. However, you will need to reset if you decide to go back to stable.

Yes. But if you have to ask, you're better off staying away from beta.

For one, you'll have to deal with bugs that might occur. And for two, the process of returning to stable in case you don't like beta requires wiping your phone.

I'm a great fan of OnePlus phone. I used the oneplus3T and it was smooth and never disappointed me. now I'm using the oneplus6 and sometimes it just hang automatically, after two or three minutes the light come back and demand for password. I'm very disappointed

I am facing a weird issue. If I have locked any recent app, then on clearing recent apps, sometime locked app also getting clear, probability is like 1 out of 10 times. Faced many times. Anybody else face this issue??

Well i saw in internet that do not ever close the recent app because there is a option like the phone automatically close the recent app after every 3 hours that's how the RAM run smoothly because after closing a recent app it takes 2 or 3 sec to reopen the app. and I've never face the app locking problem.

Don't update to 9.0.2 it destroys battery life and here are tonne of bugs. Feels like a bad beta release.

But if some apps which are not of any use for me, Why i waste my ram to let them remain in memory. Its better to spend 2-3 secs in reopening them whenever they needed.

The option to choose the apps would not be there if it wasn't ok to do so. It won't do anything to the RAM apart from help it
