I have not made a fuss about it. I'm just observing a pattern of the update program. It is awkward that some people have not received 9.0.0 yet and other already got 9.0.1 (I'm not talking about people who jump the VPN on second one).

    ok...
yeap. I'm happy not being in the front of the line... I rather stay in the background receiving stable software..

Me too. I have not joined the beta program, I have not used VPN to update if the OTA has not reached me but that is clearly a safer but way longer way to go. Just sayin' .

Trust me when I say I'm happy to be on Oreo.
Pie is really broken right now.
I'd suggest wait until the Pie Update is completely stable enough to update. I'm declining if I get OTA even now, because I can't rely upon it

That's your opinion. It might be broken FOR YOU.
But not for a lot of others. I'd never return to Oreo.

Trust me, your one of the few. Even OnePlus themselves are aware that the both updates were below standard.

It's not a question of trust but of facts. I run Pie and have 0 problems and there are a lot of other users, just scroll in beta and official threads in different languages and you will see a lot of people like me. That doesn't even count the people not even registered on this forum.
    Stop spreading BS.

I've wasted some time on the forums for about 2-3 weeks now due to this Android Pie update. I'm done with it. I've always though that Pixels are the benchmark and it's confirmed again and again. The rule is simple in the Android space. If you want to be up to date with the software (which is the one that counts) you either buy the latest flagship year after year or get a Pixel. Cheerio.

Correct. If I had any patience I would get a Samsung. I've waited for 3 months not 3 weeks. Really you should try a Pixel , mate! Bye

Of course you can. You need to search the forum to find out how.
