Please read at least some of the recent posts regarding what's going on with the update(s) before posting the same old crap time and time again. It's like observing a bunch of 4yr olds in kindergarten.

I'm in the UK and Oxygen Updater/System Updater is still showing 9.0.0, which is definitely best avoided imo.

Be interested to hear how you get on, which vpn you use etc.

Once 9.0.0 is installed via Oxygen Updater 9.0.1 will appear in the app

Ah, okay... and is there much benefit of 9.0.1 over the initial release? I had issues with Bluetooth and the Play Store updating on 9.0.0.

You're not giving the kindergarteners enough credit or these people too much

I had the same issues as yourself but everything is running fine on 9.0.1 except for the Google assistant where the mic does not work. Apart from that very smooth and responsive.

Cool, thanks. And did you do a clean/dirty install? I was thinking of doing a dirty to 9.0.1 and then doing a factory reset :)

My Bootloader is locked so was just a case of moving the zip file to root directory then into recovery mode then install. And yeah a factory reset also. Full instructions below

Download the full zip/incremental OTA from the download section above and place it in the root of your internal memory

Reboot to stock recovery > Shutdown device > Press Volume Down + Power buttons together

Select language > Install menu > Install from internal > Select the full zip > Flash

After a successful flash > Wipe cache

    Reboot

    Factory reset if desired

My OnePlus 5's battery is draining faster than usual. Is anyone else facing the same issue?

I believe the update has been pulled due to bugs with Android Pie.

I don't know of a time frame sorry, they are testing 9.0.2 but that's not publicly available.

From time to time, while browsing the Web, the phone has a falling frame rate, this happens a few times and for a very short time.
