Try re-installing 'Google Play Services' and 'Google Carries Services'. You'll see these in your applist.

So far I have been following 9.0.3 threads...this seems to be occurring for the users in India and Japan. So if you are in either of these countries your stuck with it.

Are there plans to allow the messaging app to support split-screen, it used to until this latest update?

Thank you, I understand now. Yes I'm in one of those countries. But, I assume this is a bug which will be addressed by the OnePlus team.

One plus has become lagplus now, UI is so much lagging at times that I feel I am using an old Samsung phone with its lagging TouchWiz UI, #feelthelag should be a new tag line for OnePlus...

That is why I wrote Issue/Bug/Feature...as this has been to the user in these geo location I would say it's a feature introduced from 9.x.

Had the push last night but haven't upgraded until this morning as I wanted clarification that a game that I was playing is compatible.

Now I've upgraded lets get through the nooks and crannies.

I'm in the UK so hopefully others have or are getting the push steadily now

Hmm... If not sure if it's a feature because, if it was a feature there would not have been an option to enable/disable and disable the camera sound.

Here we have that feature but, it's not working. Request the OnePlus team to look into and sort out this issue.

    HUGE PROBLEM WITH THE UPDATE!
    Let me explain.

Got the update yesterday for the device: OnePlus 5. (update 9.0.3)
Everything was working great pre update (I didn't receive 9.0.2 nor 9.0.1 update beforehand)

-I updated from 8.1 to 9.0.3 and the phone started ignoring my touch (screen not reacting to my touch).

-12h after the update it still is not responsive to my touch. I tried hard resetting, did not work.

-I went to recovery but to enter recovery mode I need to enter my password, I cannot do that hence the phone screen doesn't react to my touch.

-This is the first time it happened and I have literally no way of getting to my files.

-Phone is not rooted, under warranty, 8 months old. Bought from local provider. 1st hand user.

Is there a way of fixing this?

    Thank you, cheers.

wonder what everyone is cribbing about..I updated and found the phone to work just fine and smooth...

    battery life is good
selfie has beauty mode and portrait mode
    theme options r good
layout change is fine but not trendy
    Animation is not lagging

the only con is they removed cache clearance from setting.. (but I guess it's not that important)

5t feels new again... ofcourse I did a factory reset. always recommended.

yes, you need to flash via fastboot. I wouldn't recommend doing it by yourself though. contact support, they'll flash it for you via remote access. [e]1f44d[/e]

Live chat should suffice. they'll guide you through the steps. will give you a link to download a password protected file to which they have the key.

Yeah! you're welcome. they might ask you to send in the device to the service centre. So you'll have to request them to flash it via remote access. [e]1f44d[/e]
