9.0.3 is the most stable pie update for me. I'm getting 9.45hrs sot constantly (6 recharge cycle) and no lagging. I don't know why many users are getting issues. this is what I have done.

    factory reset and installed 9.0.2.
then updated to 9.0.3 through OTA.

If i remember correctly, back in stock oreo rom, if i remove the clock in status bar, the clock still showing if i pull down the notification bar, but now in stock pie rom, the clock disappear completely both in status bar and notification bar pull down if i remove the clock from status bar settings. Anyone know how to bring the clock back in notification bar pull down without having the clock in status bar?

well at first thanks mate for sharing your findings. yes I noticed that under facelick the option that's says unlock when screen is on is YES but it's greyed out for me to make any changes. I haven't add any facelick though.Any idea on how should I go about disabling this option? cheers

So it has been 2 days since I have upgraded onto OOS 9.0.3 and I can safely say it's as equivalently stable as OOS 5.1.7 for the Oneplus 5T.

Without further a due let me state some of the key things that I did before and after updating my device.

NOTE: I did a dirty update and my device was on OOS 5.1.7.

    1. I wiped the cache of my Apps from the storage (on OOS 5.1.7).
    2. Then wiped clean the cache from recovery.
    3. Updated my device via the OTA I got by default, did not use any kind of third party update tool etc.
    4. After update again wiped clean cache from recovery.

    Key Notes after UPDATE:

    * After the update I did not notice any kind of lags or stutters that people are reporting.
    * Haven't noticed any kind of issue with Google Play Services or updating or installing apps from the Playstore.
    * Did not notice any kind of sever hit to by battery timing, however I would suggest re-calibrating your battery soon after you rebooted device onto 9.0.3.
    * However do note that camera shutter sound muting is geo tagged and I cannot comment on it right now.

So guys give it a go. It's good it's stable.

    Happy Upgrading to you.

After the new update, why do i hear the camera shutter sound even after turning it off in settings? is that a bug?

    Yes it's a bug.
Unfortunately many people in the OP community have been tossing around as a fact that Indian laws forbid muting the shutter sound, whereas there is no such law here.
That may have influenced Oneplus to prevent its muting, even tho the button is there.
Earlier on also, OP recognised it as a bug & fixed it in OOS 4.5.7.
Therefore, if we India keep reporting it as a bug, OP will fix it.
