I laughed hard when seeing Google Communication :10/10.
My previous phone was a Google phone.
Just look at bug reports and no feedback from Google. They do their projects rather well IMO, but don't communicate much, that's a widespread fact.
    Google fanboy wrote that article.
And this is confirmed when seeing OP communication:0/10.
In a few months I read a lot of threads opened by OP officials here. I also got contacted by OP bug hunters and we exchanged very professionally. They also took care to integrate my requested features.
This never ever happened for much bigger problems on my Google phone.
Definitely these are companies with their own plans and priorities so don't expect talking to a firm as if you would be talking to a friend.

The rest is a good summary on delays with upgrades and these are facts. There are a few missing brands though...but yeah this confirms one of the main reason why I bought my first OP a few months ago.

wow, is that all frustration? Stop writing shenanigans around here. There is in fact a law in your country about that! I've seen it written, I'm not talking over the top of my head, as you are.
And before you call me a fanboy, I'm not. Couldn't care less for this company.

that is just a post from some stranger, needs government docs to prove it. also other phones do not have this restriction.

An official statement from Asus is enough for you?
I'm not going to look for the official document. I have better things to do with my life, I'm not going to waste my time with someone who doesn't value knowledge from others, just keep being a tool.
I hope you change your way of thinking and acting, and not only on this community.
    Have a nice day
    Peace.

again no official doc, so don't waste your time here. Also as per your logic only one plus users needs to follow the LAW & other manufacturers users are free to turn off the shutter sound, ROFL. I don't think LAW works like this in our country at least.

Indeed, there has been a lot off info and feedback from OnePlus ever since the first official post about Pie on this forum.

"Normal" people don't care about shutter sound. But if you think you're normal and don't want the sound, I just offered a way to do it. Learn to root, or live with it until the day OnePlus "fixes" it (if you're a believer in that approach). Just because the "fixed"it once, doesn't mean they'll do it again. But if they do, great!
