You can go on github and see more than 155 missed security and optimisation updates about snapdragon platform. These are public datas. oneplus' security updates are partial. very partial.
Google and (surprise) Samsung include more security fixes.

That's also what I expect. But "changelogs" don't match.
Like where was the improved network stability in the Beta?

It is not necessary that those things which are on beta comes on stable, there are various kind of things which they are working on privately or people may have problem with so all things in beta couldn't be on stable just things which are completed and which they think is now time for.

March is not out yet so we miss one security patch. Not my top priority actually because we still have to see devices getting really owned by potential exploits
I'd rather see existing code arriving for us, like Bluetooth equalizer.

In software development if you have a beta branch, features are entering by beta branch. Otherwise what's the purpose? OP themselves confirmed beta are the first to get new features.
Unless this is incompatible with beta (CTS status for example)
Or one of the two changelogs is partially correct. That's probably the reason (I hope)

January 2019 security patches :O that is still quite new, compared to 3/3T, November 2018 :p

Anyway, we are all at risk, if not February security patches.

You were already at risk but you didn't know it. Did you know kernel vulnerabilities were discovered in June 2018 and only patched in January?

The best IT security is : don't use computers and phones.

I wouldn't call improved network stability a new feature...
Because I was referring to New Features in my post:
Maybe it was a problem only on stable?
