    Hi all,

Upgraded my OP5 from 9.0.3 to 9.0.4 after 2 weeks or so.

After a full day of general use, i have not come a cross any issues.

    1. Battery life is almost same as 9.0.3.
    2. No app crashing, specially dialer app.
    3. No connectivity issues.

Apart from above there is a browsing lag between frames which is happening intermittently. This was there in 9.0.3. And for me its not a major issue.

Hope there will be another fix soon for the lags.

I am a 5t user after this update some times when I try to open my camera it does not work it gives a message that "failed to open camera".

this issue comes repeatedly. then I need to restart the phone to make it work fine .

I hope you all will look into this and will help me to get this corrected.

Are you fully stock? No bootloader unlock custom kernels or changes?

Does this version still have the god awful dark tint on the lock screen. If it does I will just stick with 8.1

This is Experimental and can brick your phone so anyone who attempts it be forewarned.
If you cannot afford to clean wipe if you brick do not try this. I plan on trying this in a week or so and if I brick I'll just clean wipe.
I'll attempt to dirty flash the rom 9.04 pie from one plus site with siankatagb twrp 3.2..3 based on Blu spark.
If anyone can afford to potentially brick and clean wipe but if this possibly works may not have to. try it out and report back. Not that this means it still won't brick someone else but the success rate on this would be good to know.

I've tried that recovery too, it decrypts, but fails with treble error.

    Thanks for letting me know.

Did you try all of the other 4 variants in the link also?

I might try for the heck of it.
you probably didn't brick just got the usual treble corrupt zip errors.

Has anyone out there tried fresh wipe clean installs with any of these recoveries?

I'm curious if it will work or not?

We need someone who doesn't mind to clean wipe and reinstall everything.

if it still doesn't work might as well stay on 9.03 for now.

    I hear ya.
    report back if it's successful.
That will help me decide to live with the update nag or clean wipe myself also next week when I have time.

Yes, Fully stock, no BETAs, only OTAs. And i never do a cache clearing before updating, as my understanding is "Cache" is a precious thing when you build up the APPs usage pattern for power management.
