OxygenOS 9.0.5 for OnePlus 3 & OnePlus 3T

  1. Manu J. Global Product Operations Manager Staff Member Aug 7, 2019

    Manu J., Aug 7, 2019 :
    Hey everyone,

We are starting to push the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS 9.0.5 for both the devices.

    Changelog:
    • System
      • Updated Android security patch to 2019.8
      • General bug fixes and improvements
For those who were on previous versions for OnePlus 3 and 3T, we appreciate your active feedback and attempts to reach out to us. With your help, we have been able to better optimize and improve several key areas. Thank you for your patience and as always, we look forward to hearing your continued feedback in the bug reporting forum here: https://forums.oneplus.com/feedback/.

This OTA will have a staged rollout, the OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days (sometimes a couple of weeks or more) after making sure there are no critical bugs, so using VPN to download this build might not work as the rollout is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a very limited number of devices.

Your feedback is appreciated. We may not always be able to respond to every comment in the forums, but please be assured that we take your comments and feedback seriously. Hope you enjoy and let us know how you feel about the update in the comments below.

    Never Settle.

Nice to see ongoing updates even with no big changes - an updated security patch is always worth of an update!

Those are usually two sides of the same medal. And it always depends on which apps drain the battery, this is usually an indivudual problem of configuration and used apps and not something, that concerns majority of users in the same way.

    Hi ,

I hope that the screen on lag is fixed.
like when we recieve a call. it rings but no display for 6-7 seconds.

Also , the menu bar lag , if the device is on from some days .

and camera blur /focus issue. we have to manually adjust Focus by shaking the phone .

I hope all the issues are addressed.

When will you make it friendly for those who are on encrypted phones with unlocked bootloader? Are you going to address the issue?

It has been clearly mentioned many times that P would be the last update for this phone, why are people still asking for Q ?
