The phone is extremely slow and sluggish. My keyboard hangs while I type this message. Before this update, this problem did not exist!

    Dear Sir,

I have recently updated my OnePlus 3 phone to oxygen OS 9.0.4 and now my phone hangs at least 4 to 5 times a day.

My mobile interface and operations have become very slow. There is a 5 second delay to display an incoming call number.

I tried to explore and I think the oneplus application launcher has a bug, presumeably.

Please do the needful and help me resolve this issue.

Hello Manu, please provide stable rom for us. it seems like you guys rushed to the update. Please provide us a good lag free and snappy rom for which OnePlus is know for. But for OnePlus 3 users those days are no more. Recently I tried the nought version of Oxygen OS and believe it was the fastest rom for OnePlus 3 yet. please make pie update such stable like nougat as this is the last and final update for us. I am pretty sure you guys are aware what bugs we users are facing in our daily routine. please try to fix all the bugs and provide a much snappier Oxygen OS for which OnePlus is know for.

My oneplus 3 is running great on android pie 9.0.2. I think you shouldn't update after pie 9.0.2 unless stable update get released. Try to degrade if possible

    Hi Team,

Thanks for the regular software updates.

    Few issues I've been facing since, I updated it(OnePlus 3T) to android 8.0 & then 9.0:

    - Phone display turns up after 3-4sec, when there a incoming call
    - too laggy after the latest software update to android 9. it feels like I am using a phone with sd430. this issue was not there with android 7.0
    - earpiece volume is low compared to android 8.0
    - fingerprint sensor is not responsive as earlier.
    - voice reception from microphone is not good (I feel)

I am planning to downgrade my software version to android 7.0 to improve the performance.Else, please help fix this basic issues to improve user experience.

currently my device is running on oxygen OS 9.0.4

I don't know why OP doesn't address this issue once for all. If they solved it, great. If they didn't, at least they could let us know what is the plan. But, being silent and pretend that the issue doesn't exist is lame.

@Paschfire give the solution to your problem. If you don't think it is a hardware problem, just factory reset your device to oreo and see.

Again, as @Paschfire said, this is a known hardware problem.

One thing I can say is..

Oneplus want us to buy new device of oneplus..

Because.. After all these updates. There is no improvement in our phones..

So there is clear indication that now you have to buy new phone..

Because our phones is getting worst.. After these updates..
