Any update for IMEIs being sent to Verizon for compatibility issues? Because that's what I'm having right now.

Either buy a 6T or just carry on using your 5T, it won't suddenly stop working as a new phone is out. But what's this got to do with the 6T getting an update?

Any updates on the T-Mobile OTA??

I feel like this will always be our burning question for buying through TMobile.

I will likely pay off my device early after a few months so I can unlock it and enjoy the direct Oxygen OS experience.

    EDIT:
In order to clarify some of the confusion that I have caused for some people, when you unlock your device with T-Mobile, it is still *physically* a T-Mobile version of the phone and will still look to T-Mobile for OTA updates.

If you want to enjoy the latest oxygen OS, you will need to flash it at every update. This will require that your bootloader be unlocked, however, and thus you will not pass safety net and will lose functionality with Google pay, etc...

Apparently, there is a way to change your device to be the unlocked version, but there is a high risk of bricking your phone by doing so.

Would help if TMobile and OnePlus were a bit transparent about the update situation now that a carrier is involved.

Even after this update my fingers that have NOT been enrolled can unlock the phone after a few attempts. Only my right thumb has been enrolled but my index can unlock it, either one of them.

Yes, enjoy the attention. This will be for few months only, until OP 7 is announced. After that 6T users will be neglected and they will start sulking like 5T users today.
