Edit the shortcuts available in your notification drawer.
    Add the screen recorder button.

And then use it from any screen.

Just installed the OTA update (in the Netherlands). Cleared cache after the install and the lag problem is finally gone! Thanks OnePlus!

I still face lag issue in normal scrolling and while using apps.. Cache cleared from internal and boot option also..
is there any other way to fix lag? Factory reset I'll keep as the last option..

Everyone in Android 9 faces this.. You can downdate to Oreo 8.1 and wait until it gets fixed. At the cost of not having the latest security update.

Is there any sudden stutters while scrolling? I've been facing this issue on Pie.

i tried both ob 33 and stable 9.0.7.. comparing both stable didn't have any stutters overall it was smooth but the drain was very noticeable..at end of day it will be at 20% with screen on time of 4-5 hrs ..this was during a 12 hrs observation with moderate use of social apps..no gaming..

ob 33 was a bit battery friendly but had micro stutters while scrolling in apps ..say when I open settings menu..it will take 2-3 seconds to load the details like battery % and storage space and other description in menu...

True that..it's better to stick with final open beta 19 in Oreo till things get better..for me that has been the best Oreo experience...It had a great standby with nice screen on time..
