I used it for the 9.5.9 update, but it felt sketchy and doesn't provide a change log. Even after the installation, the change log was empty. Is that normal?

Seems like there were indeed issues and one plus is coming up with a hotfix. Let's hope we get this sooner than later.

Yes, that's normal. Changelog only is present when installing from the normal OTA.

Thankfully, you can read the changelog in the first post of this thread

It's not region specific. Read the opening post. If you are really restless, read a few posts in this thread to know how to get it immediately

I started a thread at one of the biggest Android forums in my country. Then I asked around, read about dirty tricks to make it work and complained. Both on Oneplus and my carrier, especially the carrier. They got plenty of stuff they probably didn't know via their Facebook messenger chat [e]1f609[/e]
I was pretty harsh over that they sold 6T as an exclusive device and still hadn't fixed VoLTE on that and continued to ignore Oneplus devices.
Maybe I helped them in the right direction... But I'll never know... With 9.5.9 the support came [e]1f609[/e] No idea if they finally fixed 6T though.

so, I my choice to wait Ota update instead of use Oxigen updater to get 9.5.9 was right a right choice, as it had a lot of bugs!

Unless they release it faster due to being a hot fix variant of 9.5.9 I don't know. But the first 2 weeks is usually a limited release. Then they go for global release unless serious enough bugs has been found and replicated.

It seems very strange if the update does that... Should have been alot more users affected by now then

disable Volte and Wofi in the settings. go into recovery mode and empty the cache and restart it. Then Volte and Wofi reactivate and it works again. That's how it was with me.
