You expect OP7 users to answer that? It's like asking Samsung to fix their Apple Airpods.

Sometimes it's due to the period of release or the update gaps in between. For example, OnePlus 5 and 6 series are beyond the 7 series because of their prior release and update schedules. It doesn't mean 7 users are behind 7 Pro, we're all in this together.

Have you checked if it's software issue? I experienced all of that during my 5T Pie period. Rolling back to Oreo/Any version that was before fixed everything. Maybe the recent update is not for everyone on 7 Pro, and is causing unnecessary problems.

I do believe it is software issue, and something related to the kernel. But the lack of communication and clarity of OP about it it is simply embarassing for a company who lives on customers base. So since there are zero updates about it or not even a comment on it from the company and it is been a month from all web articles about the shutdown bug came out, I absolutely came to terms for the return and refund.

Sad to hear your experience and time with OnePlus. I've seen 20% of the users here facing the exact issue during my OP5 series time. Maybe Bug Hunters have to go through issues like device switch off or RAM Leak comments for new update once in a while.

Yeah it' s incredibile, cause the OP7 Pro is honestly by far the best device I experienced in ages. Absolutely stunning. but for a 759€ tag it is insane going through software, shutdown, camera bugs or needs to rollout in like a week. Support is also nice, but half of the steps or replies performed either do not work (like the recovery wipe cash which on pie does not work and it is been some time like that and they have no clue about it) or have nothing to do with the problem. There is such a growing untrustiness around towards the brand customer wise with all the Pro flows and it is such a shame considering the piece of device it is. Hope they' ll come around and do something about it, this is not Cupertino, you need the fan base to push through.

I had the exact comments for 5T and after countless Bug Reports, the updates did not do justice to any user's improvement guides. So it was a period of calling it a constant issue that'll never get a fix and go with the flow. While most users were throwing their devices in despair on Pies, I was having "Oreos" (literally). After moving to 7 Pro, I really wish those issues never ever occur to someone who needs a device periodically for either work, or regular usability. A year ago, my entire vacation was messed up due to phone switching off randomly on both Open Beta and Stable. Having a fast and smooth device is one thing, but having a device that's usable is another.

Copy and paste mate. Yeah and for me for example I got security apps that need to be approved everytime by my work company for use so imagine the massive hassle after 3 week factory resets. Totally nuts [e]1f44d[/e]

At this point of time, I feel Samsung Knox has kept its head up in terms of security, or even Apple devices (personally hate them) have a name in the industry for their security. OnePlus can up their game by focusing on ratio of what community wants to ratio of what community is happy with. Improving already "perfect" features and then updating to messing them up is pretty sad.

What OnePlus 7 Pro gets is what every other OnePlus recieves.
The only limitations are software capabilities. So sit back and relax, there won't be any partiality in features even if there's a "Pro" in front of their names.

Yep, and to sum it up, if were still talking of the 299 euro/usd tag, or even the 559 of the standard op 7, there wouldn' t be such a big fuss about it, but we re way over into the top 5 line now

    What about the camera setup?
They both are different devices hence different software. Don't simply cry for numbers of software version. OnePlus always gives higher version number to their flagship device. The latest update changelogs are the same for OnePlus 7 and 7 pro, what else do you want?
