Oneplus Camera Team need to work harder to produce better photo in terms of color as well as focus image.

I took a sample image from GCam and stock cam (9.5.4 US Version)

I hope not. I'm new to Op so I'm hoping things get better with the Op7 oppose to what you're saying happened with the 6

lol no, I don't give manufacturers that long anymore. There's so many good devices on the market now. If Op can't deliver on improving it's camera so it matches flagship quality since it's now a flagship device I'll be looking elsewhere. For now I'm rooting for Op. I believe in them.

The moment I saw the size of the update I knew it wasn't going to be a ground breaking improvement, but I guess it's good to release in bits to help manage change.

Wide angle camera for front camera? Isn't it situated on the back of the phone?

Yes but it's zoomed in. Portraits become too close unless you hold your arms back. I'm starting to think it's a hardware issues which they can't fix because the front facing camera would need a lens with a wider aperture to capture more of the subject OR a separate camera dedicate to wide angle shots

that's what I asked. it's hardware restricted. Your "important" statement in bold letters looked like you wanted that from OnePlus.

But it's possible to use software to still accomplish this I believe. I have an LG V30, it has one camera with a smaller lense in the front and it can take normal and wide angle shots. ‍♂️

yeah, just saying that phones from different brands have evolved so much but basic features are still there. hope OP7 pro sorts the wide angle issue (zoomed in) with next update. i am using LG V20.

Can you specify the build number for T-Mobile units for when this update goes through for us. After the recent security update my build number is 9.5.6GM31CB.
