OxygenOS 9.5.4 for OnePlus 7 Pro 5G Jun 17, 2019

    Hi everyone,

    We have started the rollout of OTA 9.5.4 for the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G edition.

    Changelog:
    • System
      • Optimized DC dimming
      • Improved touch sensitivity for the screen
      • Optimized Double Tap to Wake and Ambient Display
      • General bug fixes and improvements
    • Camera
      • Fixed issue with the pop-up camera opening for an incoming video call while the screen is off or locked
    • Launcher
      • Fixed issue with fingerprint animation persisting on the screen while unlocked successfully
      • Fixed issue with app icons failing to display while unlocked successfully

    Why are we still missing features from the latest 9.5.7 update on the 4G model of the device? Don't you think we should get the same updates and the same fixes at the same time. but instead you keep us an update behind. why do this?

    disappointed that 9.5.5 and 9.5.7 still missing. I have the 5G model and considering it costs more as it's a new 5G device it's a real disappointment that it's so far behind the 9.5.7 update which makes the camera actually decent.

    especially as the 4G person already has it

    it's making me consider an early trade in and going for the S10 5G instead

    I've heard that Samsung S10 5G users is suffering from slower updates compared to 4G version... So it might not be such a big difference in that regard.

    Thank you.. so it'll be out for 4g version also soon if I'm not wrong... This was quite annoying for me.. Happy that you heard us!

    agreed...they included touchscreen fix from 9.5.7 but not the camera updates.
    I hope we get a second update this week with missing camera updates!

    Well, I'm on the 9.5.7 and I'm experiencing the fingerprint animation issue. So you have some issues solved that we don't and the other way around.
    We'll have to wait.

    There exists stock camera updates on apkmirror. Latest one is extracted from Q beta 2 apperently. Not sure how big of a difference it makes on 9.5.4 though...

    Then: do you own any of these devices? Do you have any clue what megapixel means or in what scensrios it has impact on photo quality?
    Also do you realize that AI is marletong buzzword that is not standardized?

    I can't explain some of the choices they have done when updating 5G version.. Odd choices sometimes.

    Have you checked you camera version compared to regular 7 Pro?

    also there are more then just updated APK as installing newest on 5g makes no difference
