that's why we say we want an open beta.

Most of the 5G devices are unlocked, if I could run A10 on my device right now but the 5G network was dodgy, as long as I can run 4G I'll be happy right now.

Yeah. An open beta would be nice. Would hopefully result in a better final.
Atleast it's some good news in it... By that release time the OS should have been further matured and hopefully better (seems like there is many unhappy users currently).
The 5G parts as in modem and network stability is a different thing though. I have read too little about the X50 modem real life usage to know enough of it... As far as I understood it reverts to 4G when calling right? Atleast that was what an article said. Atleast X55 supports calling via 5G (if the carrier offers it I assume). Looks nice on paper atleast.
When I finally go for 5G I really hope I will be happy. But it feels like it's far away to that time for me.

I wouldn't bet on it sadly - 5G has had some updates that had bugs in it from version prior on the 4G version. I would not be surprised at all if we get the same issues people have no exept 5months later for every update.

I need to get rid of this device for one that actually gets updates.. like Samsung 5G - they have parity with 4G!

So our last "offical" update was in August.
Why am I paying more @Manu J. ? What did I even gain from this device?

Yeah.. "Never Settle" - Never Settle for less.

Is anyone else experiencing the ghost swiping glitch? What's been happening while I'm scrolling through something like Reddit, it will constantly just scroll down really fast. it's super annoying and happening alot. Any fix?

    If it's a big don't expect an update ....

Utterly duped into buying the 5g.... Will be my first and last op device... From what I read they used to care about users now with 6 models a year at least they only car about money and the latest model

Reminder that the last official voiced update from Oneplus contains a July security patch.

We did it guys, we spent all this money on a next generation device with 2 months support!

I hated the punch hole in my s10+ I like my screen being uninterrupted. I wish I went for normal 7 Pro. Even though I've got 5G now I don't think it makes that much difference to my life to justify the delays in software updates.

Yeah it is a shame, even in USA they had updates since. Yes it would be nice to finally have android 10 but at least they should keep the security patch updated to the current month. I'll be getting rid of my op7 Pro 5g and go back to iPhone. Can't beat their timely and regular updates for everyone as much as I'm not that big on iOS.
