There is a big difference in the colors and a little bit of difference in the sharpness.

Guys comparing Gcam pictures with Oneplus stock camera need to understand that Google is way ahead in terms of research, data and algorithm it uses in their camera software. Google camera is on top of the pyramid even above the Galaxys and Iphones. So it's just not comparable. If we stop comparing and just look at Oneplus pictures it is not that bad and infact good in most cases unless you are a professional photographer. For a layman like me most of the pictures posted in this forum looks quite decent.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the update had a significant improvement? I've been holding off on getting the 1+7 Pro because of the ongoing camera issues. I definitely want to get the phone but I'm not one to jump to a newly released phone within the first month or so.

I am looking at this site on a desktop computer so no night mode is not the problem for me. Still looks yellowish.

as a one plus 7 pro user I would say portrait mode needs to be corrected it just zooms in like hell and I can't take photos of nearby objects I have to get up and move a little farther away to get the picture.

please one plus team fix this issue

WOW camera now takes very nice pictures with good colours and clarity. Ultrawide doesn't produce blurry images anymore and tele cam is also sharper. Overall it's a very good update. Thanks OnePlus for fast update!
