When will this be rolled out to EE customers in the UK with the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G please? If it's going to be ages I'll work out how to use a VPN. Thanks.

My battery improved slightly. I'm averaging around 15 minutes more than before. But battery life fully depends on your usage.

I would say to just be patient. It will come eventually. I only received mine on Saturday. Which was quicker than receiving the previous update.

    Patience is key

For me, since 9.5.7 (EU device) warp charge is borked for me, it changes between warp, normal and no charging about every 5 seconds, my old 5 cable does the same but funnily enough warp charge pops up with it, and my 5 dash charger works fine (kind of limited to 1amp though). And once the phone is about 90% the issue goes away completely. Also a factory reset didn't fix it and I know for sure I didn't have it on 9.5.5 because my phone vibrates every time it switches back to warp charge (which happens a lot and repeatedly as well as the animation on the lock screen) and its never done that before. (here is a screen rec of the factory mode in the fast charge setting with the warp charge: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-2jgFTouvm170uMDDuB2roksm7gUL6IA)

You should contact OnePlus about that. I also have an EU model on 9.5.7 but never experienced such issue.

I did, they just said to reinstall 9.5.7, did that and its still the same. I'll get back to them again but its such a strange issue, I would like to downgrade to check but I can't without a custom recovery. :(

It just wanted to see if you'd panic? (That is kind of high, maybe you have a data leakage somewhere?)

Day 2 of using 9.5.7 and the list increases...

    1. Popup camera still pops up whenever a video call is received.

    2. Camera has improved alot but still focus is not accurate always.

    3. Wide angle and telephoto are still noisy and blurry in low light.

    4. Images from wide angle and telephoto are very less detailed and poor quality.

    5. Can't scroll notification panel while on a call.

    6. Battery backup still not the best. 5-6 hours sot hardly.

    7. RAM management worst always 5+ gb in use out of 8.

    8. Heating while charging and slight heating while normal usage.

    9. Fingerprint scanner often fails to recognize.

    10. Sim cards continuously fluctuating on internet. Keep connecting disconnecting

    11. The edges of the screen often become unresponsive.

    12. Selfie camera reflects blue colored circles when there are lights in the background.

    13. The rear camera often distorts lights (Lamps, street lights, etc )

can we expect a similar update for the standard OnePlus 7?
also, can I use the 9.5.7 update on non pro OP7 or will that cause any issues?

To be fair, they didn't say "1. Popup camera still pops up whenever a video call is received. " was going to be 'fixed' in 9.5.7. Believe that will be in a future build (in theory it is the phone responding correctly to the call of the camera by the app, it is just more of an issue now the camera pops up)..

And there we go :D :D In case you didn't get the point - it was a simple comparison between two phones on automatic settings in same lighting conditions - just to get some reference on how they handle the exposure, focus, noise etc. Not exactly photography master class. Nothing special, difficult, artistic or scientific about it. But hey - whatever rocks your boat ;)
