OOS 9.5.8 REVIEW
::: One Day with OnePlus 7:::
✓ Battery:
Started the day at 6am with 100% charge from Kolkata after traveling 300km all the way to get back home (Asansol) at 9pm with 28% battery left. In my uses there were Google Maps, Chrome running at the background, Spotify on Bluetooth, MX Player, Calls and Texts. I'm quite relief and satisfied with the battery.

✓ Auto-brightness:
I was on public transport and I don't remember if I had adjusted brightness manually for once, it's a significant improvement from the past in terms of auto-brightness sensor calibration.
✓ Camera:
OnePlus is behind Google and Huawei when it comes to camera, undoubtedly. Throughout the journey I was compelled to rely on Google Camera for sharpness, more details, accurate colours, and specially for selfies and portraits. On the positive note the stock camera's shutter speed and image post processing is faster, so it was handy for instant quick snaps. The key point is “GCam's output is more true to life and pleasing to the eyes comparing to the stock camera”.

✓ Miscellaneous:
1. Using the phone one-handed with bulky Tudia backcover on was manageable. 2. The performance and stability of OnePlus devices that we take for granted is something unmatched, ever appreciated, extraordinary in Android world : it's buttery smooth all-the-time, no matter what. 3. Loudspeaker is louder enough to get the attention from opposite rows' passengers that I got an incoming call to receive. 4. OxygenOS is nothing but pure love and peace in soul.
✓ Conclusion: OnePlus needs to invest keenly hardwork on the camera software algorithm to make it comparable and even superior. Battery life is something that varies from person-to-person but still I believe there's place for optimisation that can be done.
