    Hello everyone,

    We are starting to push an incremental rollout of an OxygenOS update for the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. We look forward to hearing your feedback.

    NA: DN2103_11_A.12
    IN: DN2101_11_A.13
    EU: DN2103_11_A.12​

    Changelog:
    • System
      • Further reduced system power consumption
      • Optimized the back-end management to offer better gaming experience
      • Updated Android security patch to 2021.11 (2021.10 for EU/NA)
      • Improved the stability and fixed known issues
    • Network
      • Optimized the VoWifi and ViLTE experience
      • Optimized network connection stability

    Ahem, my obligatory post:

    HDR playback still isn't fixed. Equaliser with BT earphones still doesn't work. Instagram dead space above the navigation gestures bar is still there.

    No clue what "known issues" got fixed with the update.

    And I will keep on posting this until you fix all of them.

    Android Security Patch of October for NA, EU.
    Why so?
    November security patch is pushed to Indian variant, then why not for global users too?

    Pushing October SPL in November, and that only for EU and global users, without even clarifying and explaining why. What a joke.

    How is an SPL even related to a country? Prices and certain devices? Ok, fair, but SPLs is about a device's security, which is an essential aspect of an Android phone. Plus, OnePlus' price strategy is different in India as the average person in India has less money to spend than a European for example. It doesn't make any sense to give Indian users a newer SPL.

    I can agree on everything apart from the Instagram bug. Its there on multiple phones. It isn't OnePlus' fault.

    Oh I didn't know this. I thought it was just in Nord 2. Are you sure other phones have this as well? Is there any workaround?

    Yup, my Huawei P Smart 2019 has this. Only workaround is downgrading through an older apk.

    1. Camera app doesn't remember settings (hdr, Flash, 50mp.. all these settings will be reset to default after a certain time)
    2. AOD is too bright
    3. Alert slider opens find in page option in chromium based browsers
    4. If wifi is connected but not working means it should automatically connect to mobile data. But here we have to turn off wifi.
    5. no option to disable warning mesaage (for hising front camera) in lockscreen. (if u press unlock buttom and u hide ur front cam, it will show a warning message. There is no option to disable this)
    6. no battery graph (though we can use external apps for this. so can be ignored)

    even after 3-4 updates i haven't witnessed any solution for these ui/ux related bugs.

    can someone pls priorize the visual bugs and then concentrate on invisible/no one cares about kind of system enhancements

    (battery optimisation is really a myth. Use in 0.5x animation scale. it may help. Apart from this if u seen any bugs fixed pls let me know) Thanks in advance

    DN2103_11_A.12 is running smoothly since yesterday morning.... about 36h. The changes applied are not very well documented.... I have anyway most battery draining options OFF!😊. My phone is powering off every night automatically.

    For now running smoothly just like before, didn notice any change one battery.

    Just it needs on next updates to have the ability to enable and disable EIS on ultrawide camera video mode and
    on Movie mode, to have the ability to change video aspect-ratio.
