The last Open Beta update was rolled out on the 19th October.

The key to my post and OnePlus' schedule, is the, "approximately", that I underlined.

As of the last update of Open Beta 1, there have been 18 OB 6T updates in 292 days or one release on average, every 16 days.

Do you want this Open Beta 1 test firmware release or the later, updated, OxygenOS stock Android 10 update?

    folks,avoid this build,stick with A9 please,

was just using phone then phone randomly reboots and stuck in spinning white dots animation for 25 mins until I held all volume buttons and power till screen went black

Shame on Oneplus for releasing such a buggy mess with severe issues,
They released too early and then realized.

So instead of complaining about not getting it,
    chill out it's a mess,your lucky

Okay... so what about 7 series... same format also applied on 7 series..why 7 series got back to back updates and why not series 6.. its only marketing... OnePlus want to increase sell of 7 series...
and btw when 8 series Will comes ..same happened with 7 series .

I am inclined to agree with you @dermot33 on this for the stock, stable, OxygenOS Android 10 users. That release is less than desirable and users would be better to wait for the next bug fixed version, when it is released.

I assume that you are once again, actually referring to the stock, stable, build of OxygenOS Android 10 and not this earlier Open Beta 1 test firmware which users install, "at their own risk".

Ever was it thus when a new model is released as OnePlus 5 series users were complaining about, this time last year. Just be glad that you do not have the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G model... it is destined to receive Android 10 in Q1 2020. It is not simply a matter of releasing the 7 series firmware to the 6 series as there are hardware and feature differences. We all know, for instance, that the 7's camera does not work on the 6's. This, "may be", where OnePlus slipped up in rushing out the stock OxygenOS Android 10 firmware to the 6's, based on the 7's firmware that was not correctly adapted.

OnePlus 6 vs OnePlus 7T, differences

Why do you even release an update when it's less stable than the beta one, what's the point of rushing something and then having to deal with all the people talking shit because the update is useless, and we will still now need to wait more for the fixes, OnePlus makes decisions that no one understands...

That is the firmware's, "Build date", you are quoting, which has to go through the Closed Beta testing process before being released on Open Beta on the 19th October.

yes it's rom build date.. last day something was fixes..most of the time.. beta gets release 2-3day after build...

10 day more for. .. its sigb.. rhat build release was not ready..
but they stil released it.. and now missed 2 planed schedules.. to fix anything...

that simply.. unmature. and wont hel selling new phones..
