Check your access points for your providers network and input them namually perhaps?
I think that oneplus didn't add support to the network to be honest.
Worst case scenario wipe and install the stable update

I guess I didn't get it because nothing in that post seem to be sarcastic or even imply that it was. And there are always people that are going to be complaining. the most of the complaints I saw where that people hadn't received it yet not that they were having any issues with it.

It's always recommended to format the device after a major version release. So yes, I would recommend doing a full backup and clean install.

You have to backup your data first.

Local upgrade OB1, reboot and enter recovery mode once it boot (i skip first boot) and do erase everything on stock recovery and boom done. (i do same things when playing HOS OB1)

I lock my bootloader since TWRP not support yet. But on HOS OB1 i can root properly.

If you want root, you can do patch_boot.img trick, it's works. (i don't use this and zero experience on this. Just saw feedbacks from other users)

Result may different, but you can try it. Good luck brother. ;)

    * I always remove my password before update ROM. I think this not related, only avoid crypt issues. (last time i flash no-verity zip on OP3, after that not flash that zip anymore)

Are you dirty install OB1? I don't have this issues, maybe because clean install.

You can try format and if this still exists (like dirty install), it's ROM bugs. (backup your data first before do format)

Don't forget to make official report. (via feedback community app, easy to use)

Same here, a suggestion, there should probably be a sticky comment with issue list so there is less duplication in comments

I'm afraid I'm not really qualified to answer that question in a business sense.

My personal opinion though, is that only OnePlus really knows if they are able to handle and keep on top of software updates for the amount of devices they now have (only time will tell).

As long as my device continues to be updated (albeit at a slower pace), and continues to run well, then I have no problem with them releasing more devices.

Everyone is experiencing this nuisance, so there's no fix right now. P.S., what chatting service is that?
